Madeline received the Principal’s Award for Academic Achievement and the Outstanding Service in Theatre Award in 2017, and the Outstanding Achievement in Choir Award in 2016. She’s grateful for the opportunities provided by HVCHS’ phenomenal Performing Arts Academy. Madeline thanks her teacher, Ms. Rochon, for the enormous effort she puts into the theatre program and has been fortunate to be in numerous shows under her direction including The Drowsy Chaperone (Trix the Aviatrix), Damn Yankees (featured dancer/ensemble, Gloria Thorpe u/s), Pippin (featured dancer/ensemble), and Into the Woods Jr. (The Witch). Madeline has performed in shows outside HVCHS, such as Legally Blonde (Elle Woods, Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre) and Memphis (ensemble, Kelsey Theatre). She loves singing with HVCHS’ Chamber Singers, VOX Central Jazz, and the acapella group ConBrio. Many thanks to her friends, family, and teachers Mr. White, Mrs. Cook, and Ms. Rochon for their enthusiasm and support. Congratulations to the cast of Picnic!
