Hi, my name is Anvitha Prasad and I am part of the class of 2018 in Ridge High School. Throughout my high school career, I have received honor roll and high honor roll for my academics and am a member of the National Honors Society. In terms of extracurriculars, I am the co-president of the Hearts for Human Rights club in my school, an anti-human trafficking and anti-human abuse club, as well as an officer in the Ridge International Dance Ensemble. For Hearts for Human Rights, we have worked alongside the NGO Safe and Sound, and last year, we held a seminar, while for Ridge International Dance Ensemble, we held a dance showcase in which I participated and danced. Along with dance, I play the piano and won third in the Russian Music Festival and Competition, and plan on continuing to play the piano. As well as this, I am the co-founder of an organization called Circle of Giving, aimed at helping Indian artisans in Channapatna, India gain economic independence through their arts and crafts. In the future, I plan on pursuing international business and am interested in working both in the private and public sector.
