Dance IS EDUCATION
Get Active for Dance Ed Now!
DID YOU KNOW THAT ONLY 8% OF NJ STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN DANCE AT SCHOOL?
Take Action By Learning More:
Assess what is happening at your local school and in your district.
Find out if your district or school offers dance taught by a certified dance educator for K-12 students.
Find other people who also care about what you care about to collaborate with.
Explore our Arts Ed Now website and join our Action Hub to connect with other advocates and learn how to ask for Dance Ed NOW!
Meet with the person who makes the decisions/holds the purse strings, etc.
Depending on your district it is the Superintendent, in schools it is the principal.
Attend a school board meeting! Ask your superintendent or school principal how they decide what arts courses are offered in your district and/or school.
