National Arts Advocacy Day – Youth Arts Advocacy Exchange
& National Arts Advocacy Day Summit
  • March 29, March 30 – 31 ArtPride NJ welcomes students to be part of the NJ delegation to this annual national summit that gathers advocates to meet with their members of US Congress. The 2 day event includes advocacy training and attendance at the Nancy Hanks Lecture on Arts & Public Policy at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Find out more »

Arts integration is an effective strategy for cultivating positive climate and culture, as well as deepening student engagement. This workshop will immerse participants in the fundamental components of high-quality arts integration. In each highly participatory session, the knowledge and skills needed to move confidently from planning to implementation will be explored.
Putting the Art in Language Arts

How can visual art enhance your students’ learning in the ELA classroom? Experience how educators at the Smithsonian American Art Museum use artwork to engage students as critical thinkers, readers, and writers, while supporting the content you teach.
