Skyler Easterbrook – Contrasting Monologues

Skyler Easterbrook is a senior at Morris Catholic High School, where she transferred to prior to her junior year. In 2017, she earned a Superior ranking for Dramatic Monologue at the New Jersey Thespian Festival. At the 2017 Morris County Teen Arts Festival she was awarded the 1st Place Lucite Award for her monologue performance. This year, she earned a Superior ranking at the NJ Thespian Festival in the category of Contrasting Monologues, performing selections from Shakespeare’s Henry VI Part I, and Thank You So Much for Stopping. At Morris Catholic, she has performed the roles of Jo March in Little Women, Penny Sycamore in You Can’t Take it With You, and is a featured soloist in the spring production of Big Fish. She is also a writer and director for the school’s annual original Winter One Act production, and takes an independent upper-level Theatre Studies course. She is a member of the Drama Club Executive Board and the International Thespian Society. She hopes to pursue a double major in business and theatre in college, so she can live her dream of becoming a working actor.
