Camilia Charmell Bell – NJ STATE CONFERENCE OF THE NAACP ACT-SO STATE COMPETITION

Camilia Charmell Bell is an exceptional 16 year old junior attending Williamstown High School in Williamstown, New Jersey. Throughout her years in high school she has earned many forms of academic honors, congratulating her for the determination to keep her grades higher than an 85 in all her classes. Just recently she was awarded a place on the Principal’s List for earning above a 93 in all her classes. She takes pride in the success of her academic scores, knowing the importance they hold in her future. Camilia has also recently applied for the (RCGC) Rowan College at Gloucester County program held at her school called “High School Option”, which will be giving her the opportunity to take and earn college credits before entering college.

This year Camilia Bell will be awarded the GCC (Gloucester County Choir) Scholarship, in which she attended for 3 years, singing various songs in multiple languages around the South Jersey area. She has participated in the Gloucester County ACT-SO program for 3 years, winning medals in Music Vocal Contemporary, as well as Health and Medicine in 2015 and 2016.

Camilia is interested in Behavioral Analysis and African Studies, and hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in such fields at an Historically Black University
